A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the case.
The chief justice observed that the order should be sent to Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza for implementation.
He said that Advisor on Interior Affairs Rehman Malik was heading the Interior Ministry despite the suspension of his NA membership.
Meanwhile, Member of National Assembly Jamil Malik appeared before the court and submitted his statement in the court. He said that he is not a citizen, but a national of Holland. The chief justice questioned, “How can one be a national without being a citizen?”
MNA Farhat Khan, MPA Nadia Gabol, MPA Ashraf Chouhan, MPA Wasim Qadir and MPA Nadeem Qadir were issued notices to submit their documents again.
The Supreme Court granted more time to Malik to submit his documents and adjourned the hearing till July 2, 2012.

The PCO SC is changing the majority of PPP into majority of PML-N. Bit by bit they are eating away at the ruling secular coalition. No wonder PPP is forced to give 15-16 posts in the new cabinet to PML-Q. The PCO CJ would do anything to delegitimizing the electoral verdict.
And people still think the Courts are unbiased!
According to the constitution, the dual nationality holders should not be allowed to contest elections. First, the ones who allowed them in elections should be questioned.
The oath these people took on other soil becomes void if they become parliamentarian of the country they opt to seize the nationality before.
Blind justice is better than squint justice.
what else does this court do?
We should appreciate this decision but what about one party leader who is British Citizen and controling party from abroad? Can any non Pakistani has right to be leader of political party in Pakistan? Can any one take notice of this thing or river of Justice will flow uni-directionaly against only one party? What about 7000 NRO cases? and 12th May?
