Leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said that even all parties jointly cannot stop PTI from succeeding. Speaking to the dinner reception of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry on Sunday here he said that his party will not join hands with any of the parties that are part of the present coalition government. He said that economic stability was not possible without good governance.
Imran Khan said that the success of the PTI was need of the hour and people will start seeing the real impact and face of the Tsunami just three months before the election.
Strongly criticizing the election of the prime minister, he said that it seems as if the national assembly was an auction house where a person was elected to the position of the prime minster despite all the charges of corruption leveled against him.
He said that the conspiracy against the Chief Justice has become known but still no party, except his PTI, has enough courage to criticize Malik Riaz Hussain. He said that these parties cannot dare to issue a statement against Malik because their leaders are business partners of the real estate tycoon.
Imran Khan said that his party will abolish the discretionary funds of the members of the national and the provincial assemblies. He said if the PTI came into power, it will not have more than 20 ministries in the cabinet. He said that a high powered complaint cell will be established in the Prime Minister’s House which will work round-the-clock to handle the complaint of the businessmen and investors.
He said that Pakistan has suffered a loss of 50b dollars by fighting the American war and if he came into power, the very first day he will disassociate the country from it.
He said that he will stabilize the economy through good governance and if his party did not find an honest candidate from any constituency, it will not issue ticket to anyone from there.
He said that peace cannot be established in Karachi through using the rangers, adding that the police will have to be depoliticised, followed by a de-weaponising campaign.

@Fareed: It is choice between villians.
@Ali Wali: Good governance is as specific as it can get if you really think about it. Once a cynic always a cynic perhaps may be another problem altogether ;)
What about swinging a magic wand, Khan Sahib, everything will be all right in 90 days. Can't get more vague, 'good governance'.lol
We have given all the others 3 chances and they all have failed miserably. Now is the time to give IK a chance. One thing for sure he is not a corrupt individual like the other politicians. He is clean solid and and the only guy who can help Pakistan get out of this mess. He will surely come as the people of Pakistan are with him now..
@Syed Shah: I agree with Seyed Shah. The feudal system is so strongly entrenched in Pakistan that the land owning elites could easily win over the illiterate and unsophisticated masses who are influenced to vote for the Aristocratic elements to come to power. This feudal system should be dismantled and the innocent villagers be freed from the stranglehold of the landlords to vote freely in furtherance of democracy.
@A.S.Ahamed Farooq "Firstly the people of Pakistan have not given an opportunity to Imran Khan to prove his skill and talents as a leader."
For the people to give him a chance he needs to contest election. Or we can go there and just add his name with a pen?
You insult your own and our intelligence by supporting your opinion of his greatness with examples of his cricket captaincy and fund raising abilities. After 15 years, this clown started getting attention (outside the 4 cities) only because of the establishments support.
'Got a great ovation at CIMA....' flip through cable and watch motivational speakers. They all get standing ovations. I'm not interested in his oratory prowess, content is more important, and he is as hollow as anybody else, rhetoric rhetoric ...
His arrogance and self righteousness are repulsive. His lack of intellect, knowledge and wisdom, extremely obvious. Yes, I agree with you on one point; we deserve him, because he is just like us.
@mubeen ahmad: Your conclusion that Imran Khan is a failed leader is baseless and unfounded.Firstly the people of Pakistan have not given an opportunity to Imran Khan to prove his skill and talents as a leader.Secondly the people of Pakistan are still in the feudal frame of mind who keep on voting for landowning and factory owning elements. They are unable to gauge the value of Imran Khan.As the Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team his leadership played a pivotal role in Pakistan winning the World Cup in 1992.Further,the cancer hospital that he built in memory of his mother is another shinning proof of his leadership and potential. I would like to refer a CIMA seminar held in Colombo,Sri Lanka a few years ago, which was addressed by Imran Khan too.He spoke on the subject "Positive Thinking"At the end of the speech he received a standing ovation from the audience which comprised of highly educated individuals who admired Imran's oratory..Men of such calibre are rare. He deserves to be voted into power to lead Pakistan out of the utter mess it is bogged in.due to misrule by the present leaders..
The speech delivered by Imran Khan at the reception hosted by the Federation of Chamber of commerce and industry merits commendation. In the course of his speech he rightly highlighted the need for political stability for the economic progress of Pakistan.Political stability and order is essential prerequisite for large scale inflow of foreign capital and for investment in industrial projects.Another significant aspect that Imran Khan stressed was the urgency to appoint a Commission to investigate the complaints against the big business magnates for bribery and malpractices.Bribery and corruption is major malaise that sapping the economic, social and political vitality of Pakistan and thereby retarding the advancement and progress of the country.Another major issue that confront Pakistan, as emphasized by Imran Khan,is the Afghan quagmire Pakistan is mired in.The need to extricate the nation from this quagmire is obvious.Imran Khan has pledged to disentangle Pakistan as soon as he came to power. He deserves an opportunity to effectuate the pledges he has made to people of Pakistan. The people of Pakistan are obliged to bring Imran Khan's party to power to deliver on his promises.
Imran Khan is a failed man. He has gathered all the corrupt feudals of other parties in PTI.
Imran Khan is a failed politician. He has only one motto and that is to criticize PML(N). He is a great helper of Zardari.
I used to believe in that leaders were not born, but are created, but i have to accept, leaders are not created but are born, and certainly Imran Khan is not one of both. He might have a great personality and looks good and speaks good, but not a leader for sure.
No to PTI. Yes to PML(N).
haha, as they say it Baatain karwa lo bus Kaptaan say! He learns one fact repeats it for next 15 days on all channels and press conferences, and then repeat.
Imran Khan is a failed politician. He continuously criticizes Sharif Brothers who cooperated a lot for cancer hospital. The land for the hospital was given by Punjab government led by Sharif Brothers. Moreover all the taxes and duties on the machinery of the hospital was relaxed by Nawaz Sharif. At the same time, Sharif Brothers cooperated in all respects. But Imran has forgoten all those noble deeds done by Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif. My vote for PML(N).
You don’t have to wait till your party’s in power to have an impact on life at home and around the world. they are all the same ek hee thali kae bengan hain...just twisting peoples minds and playing games....
Imran Khan, Pied Piper of today and Robin Hood of tomorrow!!
@Falcon: 'I really like the fact that IK is engaging business community.' Malik Riaz Hussain is also a part of this Business Community.
Man! keeping the political comments off, just look at the man, he looks such graceful. What a personality!
I support IK but he should not become too much PMLN-Centric.He incearsingly looks like supporting PPP and MQM .mR. khan should contest from Multan to redeem himself. Go and camp there , prove your leadership. We are all weith you. Even if you fail it is OK. You would have shown your leadership. If you keep listening to your narrow minded supporters and do not aim big and do not rise above PMLN bashing , you are doomed. Dont become a sploier in favour of PPP and MQM but face all and succeed. Dont play small politics.
@Ch Allah Daad:
I agree this as a joke. But if you want to listen the biggest lie of the planet then listen the speech of Sharif brothers becouse they always speek lie either in power or in apposition. So the best option for the country is still Imran Khan
Khan sb. you are missing the train. People are dying and you are also giving dates to nation. Please march to Islamabad. Timing is running short.
Dear Kaptaan. For planning good governance, one must work on the infrastructure of the party, instead of appearing in 2-5 shows per evening.
Man with the mission.
Good Governance in 90 days - over promising to me?
Skipper! we support you and will vote you, but STOP making judiciary "Larger Than Life" as there are many people who believe that they are only interested in cases against PPP and never take action against Ml-N. Also you are requested to stay away from clerics and so called religious parties such as JI as they'll sink you and make you as one of them. We have great hopes from you but please talk sane as the voter has become too aware and you wont want to trigger anything that can spoil the support you have already built!
My dear Mr. Imran khan. Plz stop talking and show some action. You talk too much
My vote is for IK. There is no better alternate in our country.
Peace in Karachi is very important. Just oppoint police on 100% merit even do not consider Quota System (Bad law). Things will automatically be calmed.....Merit is the only key for success in every field of life.
A true leader always speaks true. Insha Allah no one can stop Imran Khan.
He said that Pakistan has suffered a loss of 50b dollars by fighting the American war and if he came into power, the very first day he will disassociate the country from it.
BUT HOW . . . . ??? CAN U EXPLAIN . . . !!!
A wonderful term every TV watching Pakistani has become fond of 'Good governance'.
I really like the fact that IK is engaging business community. They are a major stakeholder whose input is vital to formulation of high industrial growth policy in the country. Erdogan in Turkey also mustered political clout off the back of a vibrant business community.
inshalla. Khan will be the next PM.
How are you going to achieve any thing with the system intact that lets the land lords come to power one way or the other. And they will never let you do what you want even if you come to power. So first demolish the existing elitist system. Introduce land ceiling and implement it, automatically they will be eliminated. Only then can you do something. Not until then Imran.
You can criticize him all you want but do you think any of the other alternatives are better ;)
100% agree with IK. People must not forget the sufferings of last 4 years. Plz vote for right and clean people & not on ethnic bases..
Good jokes..
Politicians have all the answers to solve the problems of the country when they sit on the opposition bench.
Well said. May Allah give you strength to hold true to your promise. Amen.
Good governance is indeed the key. May be more of our politicians should take management courses and learn how to manage complex issues.
"Next man in", insha allah
Kaptaan..be ready to become PM..InshAllah your opponents will face a series of bouncers and yorkers in these upcoming elections..
With current set of politicians ,good governance is just not possible. The system has to change
