Moving with times: Pakistan Post aims for competitive edge

Around 116 post offices have been computerised so far.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Post has drawn up a comprehensive plan to modernise the department and introduce a competitive culture in the organisation by performing operations in a customer-friendly manner. “Pakistan Post is focusing on the use of information technology to provide better services to the customers,” a senior official of the department told APP on Sunday. “The service to provide information relating to dispatching and delivery of Express Mail articles has been improved by the Express Mail Track and Trace System (EMTTS),” he added. Around 116 post offices have been computerised so far, with the objective to improve the delivery of postal services throughout the country.
