Four policemen killed in Quetta

QUETTA: At least four policemen were killed when unknown armed men attacked them near the Eastern Bypass in Quetta on Sunday.

The bodies were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for autopsy.

The deceased were identified as constable Abdullah Mengal, Shahjehan, Abdullah Pirkani and Mumtaz Sarpara.

Police sources said that armed men attacked the policemen when they were patrolling the area as per routine. The attackers managed to escape on motorbikes, however a police car was sent to chase them down.

Police and FC personnel were deployed in the area after the incident. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

The Easter Bypass is located around 8km away from the city, which is a deserted area.

Wonder,how come the HRCP never publicly expresses it's concern and condemns,such acts of terrorism being committed against innocent citizens and security personnel,by the lethally armed unknown militants in Balochistan...For instance,yesterday 8 innocent people got killed at a Dhobi shop,sprayed with bullets by men on M/Cycle. Are these not human's being killed for no fault of theirs ?
