Squash: Danish wins Asian junior event

KARACHI: Danish Atlas Khan defended his Asian Junior Squash Championship title after defeating compatriot Ali Bokhari 3-0 in the final yesterday. Atlas won the one-sided match 11-7, 11-8 and 12-10. “I was always confident that I would beat Bokhari easily in the final to defend my title,” Atlas told The Express Tribune. “Now my aim is to get a gold medal for my country in the World Championship and I’ve been working really hard for it.” He was recently named the best junior player in Asia by the Asian Squash Federation.
