Gilani’s constituency: NA-151 by-polls on July 19

NA-151 Multan had fallen vacant after Yousaf Raza Gilani's disqualification as the prime minister.

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday announced the schedule for the by-elections of NA-151 Multan seat, which fell vacant following the disqualification of Yousaf Raza Gilani as the prime minister, Express News reported.

The polling will be held on July 19, 2012.

According to the schedule, the nomination papers of the candidates will be submitted on June 25 and 26, while nominations can be withdrawn by July 5.

The final list will be released by the ECP on July 6.

The ECP also announced the district returning officer and other presiding staff for the polls.

Multan's by elections will be contested by both main parties and it offers a great opportunity for Imran to take two wickets with one ball. The only problem is hot and humid weather. He does not play in muggy and sultry conditions.
