Football: Diya WFC thrash Rubaisha 20-0

The 5th National Inter-Club Women Football Championship started yesterday, with matches being held in Karachi and Lahore. In the match in Karachi, Diya WFC destroyed Rubaisha WFC 20-0 at the KPT Football Stadium. Hajra and Kiran scored five goals each and Afshan scored four goals for Diya. In the match in Lahore, Sports Science WFC defeated Model Town WFC 1-0 at the Model Town Football Academy Ground with Ishrat Fatima scoring the only goal. In today’s matches, Karachi WFC and Fatima Jinnah WFC will play in Karachi, while there will be two matches in Lahore with Islamia Sports Science WFC playing Young Rising Star WFC, and Lahore Fighter WFC facing LSE WFC.
