Violations: LDA repossesses mortgaged plots

LAHORE:

The Lahore Development Authority has taken over mortgaged plots in 18 private housing schemes that hadn’t completed development works. The LDA will sell the plots at auction to raise funds to develop the areas.

The schemes include Ahbab Cooperative Housing Scheme (HS), Al- Assar HS, Al-Hamra Town HS, Bagh-i-Iram HS, Ravians Co-operative HS, China Town HS, Makkah HS, Gulshan-i-Jinnah HS, Green Valley HS, Hyde Park HS, Kakezai HS Phase-II, Khurram Town HS, Meraj Town HS, OPF Farm HS, Punjab Government Servants Cooperative HS, Salli Town HS (North), Sunny Park (Ext)/ Sunny Garden HS and Zubaida Khatoon Housing Scheme.
