Balochistan Assembly: Public accounts committee needed

QUETTA: The lawmakers of Balochistan Assembly emphasised the need for setting up public accounts committee and other standing committees of provincial assembly during the session held on Friday with Speaker Aslam Bhootani in chair.

Participating in the debate on next provincial budget 2012-13, Zahoor Buledi said there were no standing committees of the provincial assembly. Minister for Information Technology Shama Perveen Magsi said several development schemes were incomplete due to delay in the release of the allocated funds.
