Four times the Joy: Woman gives birth to quadruplets

A woman gave birth to quadruplets eight years after marriage.

MULTAN: A woman gave birth to quadruplets on Wednesday, eight years after marriage. While the condition of the mother is out of danger, doctors at Nishtar Hospital said the infants were being kept in an intensive care. They said the infants, two boys and two girls, had low blood pressure. The mother, Shakeela Bibi, said doctors had earlier told her that she might never conceive. She said she was “extremely happy” and wished her children would make it through. Muhammad Arshad, the father, said he was a labourer, but was optimistic that the children would bring him luck. He said he was proud to become a father of boy and girl children at once.
