Akram Rahi: Cases marked to another judge

Rahi wants a case against four men and a woman for not transferring a plot in his name despite receiving full payment.

LAHORE: Responding to a reference by a judge to consolidate the cases of Akram Rahi, a folk singer, on Wednesday, District and Session Judge Mujahid Mustaqeem Ahmed marked Akram Rahi’s cases to Additional District and Sessions Judge Rai Muhammad Ayub Khan Marth. Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Mushtaq Elahi Bingi sent a reference recommending that Rahi’s various cases be consolidated. Rahi is seeking orders to police to register a case against four men and a woman for not transferring a plot in his name despite receiving full payment.
