Crime: Two killed in separate incidents

A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a speeding dumper truck on GT Road.

TARNOL:


A man was shot dead and another lost his life in a road accident in Tarnol area on Monday.


Police sources said that 22-year-old Shah Rehman, an Afghan national, was shot dead by Rahim Dad, a resident of Mardan, for allegedly teasing his daughter.

Later, the alleged murderer surrendered to the Tarnol police while saying that Shah was not a criminal. I killed him for teasing my daughter, said Dad.

In another incident, a motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a speeding dumper truck on GT Road.

Khurram Shahzad was taken to Pims, where the doctors pronounced him dead. The Driver of the truck managed flee but abandoned his vehicle, which was impounded.
