BISE Abbottabad result: Girls outshine boys in SSC examinations

Girls outshined boys by securing the top three positions  in the Board of Intermediate Secondary Education (BISE) Abbottabad for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) 2012.


The overall pass percentage was 78.84, increasing by seven per cent from last year.

While announcing the result for this year, the BISE Abbottabad Controller Examinations Hameedullah Jan said that a total of 50,107 candidates appeared in the exam, out of which 39,504 remained successful with a pass percentage of 78.84%.

As many as 23,496 appeared in the Sciences group, out of which 20,539 remained successful with an overall pass percentage of 87.41% while a total of 25,626 appeared in the Arts group, of which 18,086 remained successful with an overall pass percentage of 70.58%.

Moreover, a total of 985 candidates appeared in the Computer Sciences group, of which 879 remained successful with an overall pass percentage of 89.24%.
