Police operation: Two hostages rescued after encounter

The hostages were identified as Wajid Soomro and Noorul Haq Soomro.

SUKKUR: On Sunday, the police rescued two hostages after an encounter with outlaws at the Sindh-Balochistan border. The hostages were identified as Wajid Soomro and Noorul Haq Soomro, residents of Abdul Ghani Shah Village near Thul. The men had been kidnapped a month ago. The raid was led by Thul DSP Ghulam Murtaza Mirani. During the encounter, the kidnappers managed to escape and left the hostages behind.
