Edhi foundation: 45 people make their way home

LAHORE: Edhi Foundation provided free treatment and medicines to 3,104 patients in its dispensary situated in Allama Iqbal Town during the last month. The foundation admitted 61 people including women and children into Edhi Home in Gulberg and Bilquees Edhi Home in Township and 45 of them were sent to their homes after their home addresses were found, an Edhi Foundation spokesperson said on Sunday. The foundation shifted 39 bodies and 117 injured people to their homes from hospitals following accidents in the metropolis. The Edhi Foundation volunteers provided their services in shifting 4,446 bodies to hospitals from houses and vice versa. The foundation buried 19 unclaimed bodies in Miani Sahib graveyard, the spokesperson added.
