LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Friday directed Gulberg SP to hold a fresh inquiry into the demolishing of a wall of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) office and submit a report by June 13. The SP submitted a brief report wherein he stated that the area’s town municipal officer had not told the police about the stay order. A video of government officials tearing down the wall was shown in court. Justice Ibadur Rehman Lodhi was hearing a contempt of court petition filed by the cricket board. The board is seeking action against officials who razed down the wall. Counsel for the PCB said the police officials and the town municipal officer’s act was a violation of a stay order.
