SIALKOT: Saddar police on Thursday arrested two abductors and recovered a five-year-old who was kidnapped for ransom last month. District Police Officer Afzaal Ahmed Kausar said that Mubeen and Shaukat had kidnapped the child on May 24 from outside his school. They had demanded Rs1 million ransom money from the parents. On Thursday a police team, supervised by SP (Investigation) Asad Sarfraz, arrested the two men from a house in the outskirts of the city. They also recovered Rs0.5 million from them, which the child’s family had paid to the abductors. The child was handed over to the family.
