Training workshop: Researchers taught proposal writing

IUB has several on-going research and training projects in collaboration with the Punjab Skill Development Fund

BAHAWALPUR: Universities need to initiate collaborative projects with the government and businesses, Prof Muhammad Mukhtar, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur vice chancellor (VC) said on Tuesday. He was addressing during a training workshop organised by the Statistics Department at Baghdadul Jadeed Campus. University spokesman Shahzad Ahmad said the workshop aimed at training researchers in how to write technical and financial proposals for various research projects of the Punjab Skill Development Fund. He said researchers from several university departments attended the training. The IUB has several on-going research and training projects in collaboration with the Punjab Skill Development Fund and is offering short courses in veterinary and computer sciences.
