LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (N) has announced a major protest on June 14 if the energy crisis in Punjab is not resolved, Express News reported on Tuesday.

According to sources, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz will lead the demonstrations for PML-N.

During the demonstrations, the protestors are likely to surround the Governor House too. PML-N is adamant to continue their protests until the energy crisis is completely over.

While the chief minister is currently functioning from his camp office set up at Minar-e-Pakistan, he has also put up a camp office at 90 Shahrae Quaid-e-Azam.

Shahbaz Sharif will perform his duties from his camp office whenever he visits 90 Shahrae Quaid-e-Azam, instead of his office.

    This is just a stunt. PMLN officials were asked recently that what is their stance on Pak-Iran Gas pipeline and they went silent as PMLN is dreaming for the next government and they cannot take any action against American will and that is why Shahbaz Sharif and PMLN is absolutely silent on Pak-Iran Pipeline. If PMLN is a sincere then now Iran have offered to finance this project fully and now let us see how much serious you are by solving the crisis or doing it for Topi drama only. If PMLN will not force government for this project then everything must be evident that what PMLN is all about. Pak-Iran gas pipe line will solve our energy needs and will be completed in less than 2 years.

    Noora Kushti only good during election year? Loadshedding is not a new problem nor PPP is in government now. You enjoyed government perks for many years and now want to fool us in the last year. We will not support you this time.

    He only saw loadshedding just now! last four years there was no load shedding in Punjab and Pakistan! He should be ashamed of himself, by expoloiting people situation with loadshedding, These tricks of showbazi will not work anymore. If he wants to protest, resign and protest even in last year of power he want to hang on and use public funds for election campaign!

    Tamasha at its best!

    Instead of useless protests, find a solution to the problem. Who has stopped you to use coal which is found in abundance in Punjab.

    @A J Khan:
    Excellent point. They are being opportunistic. PPP and PMLN are as bad as each other. Imran Khan is the only one capable of bringing about much needed reforms in the country. Vote for him
