Illegal arms: 2,179 cases registered

LAHORE: As many as 2,179 cases of illegal arms possession have been registered in the last five months, CCPO Aslam Tareen said on Sunday. The weapons recovered include 17 Kalashnikovs, a machinegun, 79 rifles, 125 guns, 1,814 pistols, 71 revolvers, 8 carbines, 2 mousers, 25 daggers, a knife and three grenades.
