ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Jamil Ahmed Khan held a meeting with members of the Baloch community on Sunday and apprised them of the initiatives taken to enhance consular services being provided to expatriates in the UAE. “The initiatives are part of the efforts to facilitate Pakistanis in the UAE,” said Khan while talking to representatives of the community. “A NADRA team will be asked to resolve the issue in processing National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOPs),” the envoy assured members of the delegation. “I am also trying to convince authorities here to grant a waiver to Baloch in their pursuit of basic documents,” he added. He also proposed establishing a separate cell at the Pakistani embassy to facilitate Baloch.
