Anti-terrorism court: Target killer’s case to be heard in jail

The case, involving Khurram Mustafa and a co-accused Shahid Jameel, was transferred.

KARACHI: The trial of an alleged target killer will now be held inside jail, decided the Anti-Terrorism Court I on Wednesday. The case, involving Khurram Mustafa and a co-accused Shahid Jameel (whose alias is Chamber), was transferred because Jameel’s cases are already being heard in court. In the First Information Report, the men were charged under sections 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) as well as sections 353, 180, 302, 395 and 34 of the PPC read with section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act. The case of Taufiq Ansari, who was charged under section 13-E of the Arms Ordinance and sections 4 and 5 of the Explosives Act was transferred from the ATC I to the District Court East on Wednesday.
