Lauding progress: Munter visits CIIT

Ambassador congratulated CIIT on achieving number one ranking in Computer Science and Information Technology.

The management of the Comsats Insitute of Information Technology (CIIT) should be commended for the progress they have made in such a short span of time.


This was stated by the US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter on his visit to the institute on Tuesday. On his arrival, he was welcomed by Rector Dr SM Junaid Zaidi and other senior officials of the institute.

The rector in his introductory presentation briefed the US ambassador about the numerous achievements of the CIIT since its inception in 2000.

The ambassador congratulated CIIT on achieving number one ranking in Computer Science and Information Technology.

Moreover, an interactive session was arranged with CIIT faculty members, staff and the students. The US ambassador also assured his maximum co-operation in different projects.
