MULTAN: The Livestock Department has taken steps to control chechri, a parasite that causes Congo fever virus. District Officer Jafar Raza said that after the news of death of a young man in Jilani Town in Multan, reportedly due to the Congo fever, the Livestock Department had set up a special camp at Jilani Town to eradicate chechri.
