Scrabble: Khatri clinches tournament

National champion Waseem Khatri clinched the second Ishtiaq Chisti Memorial Scrabble Tournament after winning seven of his nine games and ending with 772 points as the event concluded at the Beach Luxury Hotel yesterday.
Inayatullah secured second place after winning seven matches and ending with a total of 355 points. Yasir Jamshed finished third by winning six games, with a haul of 628 points.
The event, which was held to commemorate scrabble player Ishtiaq Chishti, featured a total of 50 players. Chishti was the oldest player in the world to represent Pakistan at the age of 69 during the World Championship in 2003.
