Khan Bela Accident: 3 bodies identified, 8 ‘critical’

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Only three among the 33 people who died in an accident late Friday night have so far been identified. At least 14 people were killed and 33 were injured after a passenger bus overturned near Zafarabad. The accident took place on the National Highway. The bus, which was on its way to Karachi from Fort Abbas, turned turtle near Zafarabad. According to witnesses, the driver had swerved to avoid hitting a cyclist but lost control. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Shaikh Zayed Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan and other district hospitals. Eight of the injured are reported to be in a critical condition.
