Addressing a rally in Narowal on Saturday, Gilani criticised the protest movement and said, “The right time for a long march was during [former dictator Pervez] Musharraf’s era, when judges were in jails and the media was restrained. You should have come back from Jeddah and held a long march for the people and the judiciary.
“You made a deal and left the country. We are the ones who fought for democracy,” he added.
Referring to Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif without taking any names, Gilani said, “One brother says that he doesn’t accept the president, the other brother says he doesn’t accept the prime minister… Now a new person has emerged, Chaudhry Nisar, who says he doesn’t accept the speaker. What kind of a leadership is this?”

Come on guys! Musharraf is much much better than all these thugs.
Nawaz Sharif is taking right steps at right time. Mr. Gilani should think about his own acts instead of advising Nawaz Sharif.
How is Gilani different from Musharraf? You are also doing acts against judiciary like he did. But your method is different. You are a convicted person but you are not leaving the office of PM because you are chair-lover. Musharraf was also a chair-lover. There is load shedding, lawlessness, inflation, poverty, unemployment in both eras (Musharraf & Gilani). I think both are 2 sides of a coin. Gilani should leave the seat immediately as he is a convicted and illegal PM.
Mr. Gilani, you are worse than Musharraf.
@Ch Allah Daad: I think you meant to say, 'fought against the people'
@Not me: Pres. Zardari and Gilani spent years in jail during Musharaf regime. Zardari got released on bail after he completed almost double the maximum sentence in all cases. PPP leadership can be blamed for anything except political cowardice.
Sharifs were negotiating deals with Musharraf, while their comrades were being tortured in the jails. Finally they fled with 40 suitcases. In the end, both Ch. Nisar and the Sharifs got the best of both worlds, and persons like Javed Hashmi were scratching their heads... what the heck?
The most hatred prime minister in the history of Pakistan, who does not accept even the the people are suffering bad times. Rally Musharraf was far more better than these pseudo democratic leaders, or feudals.we need good governance not the good politics, we need solution of our problems not the continuity of the government at the cost of our suffering, we need democracy for better standards of life, we do not need democracy for creating problems and playing with our wounds. Again if thisis democracy then please understand thatpakistan is not meant for this kind of democracy. We need elimination of poverty not the poors.the best eom racy means evolution in people's life not the distribution of powers and money among looters and opportunists
And Awam do not accpted PPP all looter... please leave from our country...
PTI+PPP are on the same page. This statement was issued by PTI and now by PPPP. I am afraid Imran Khan will have a Coalition with PPP in next elections. PTI supported PPP candidate openly in Multan bye Elections and let us what is in store for us in coming elections. According to my info PTI and PPP have agreed on a deal according to which Shah Mahmoud and Javed Hashmi will left seats of Multan for PPP and will run for elections from Lahore and likewise PPP will support PTI in Lahore and in other regions according to Seat Adjustment.
And where was Mr Zardari at that time. New York if I re-call.......
Sharif brothers tried on few occasions but ruthless force was used against them. PPP and other parties were sitting in Musharaf's lap, it was Only PML(N) which fought for people.
