Obituary: Tribune staffer’s father passes away

Mr. Shah leaves behind three sons and three daughters to mourn his death.

GILGIT: Editorial staff of The Express Tribune expressed their heartfelt condolence on the sad demise of their colleague’s father. Gul Zaman Shah, father of Peer Muhammad, staff reporter at The Express Tribune Islamabad, died at the age of 76 on Wednesday. Family sources said Mr. Shah suffered a massive stroke on Tuesday. He was rushed to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Gilgit. However, he could not recover and died within twenty four hours. His body was shifted to his native town, Thoi, Yaseen Tehsil for burial on Thursday. Mr. Shah leaves behind three sons and three daughters to mourn his death. The staff at The Express Tribune prayed that his soul may rest in peace.
