Achievement: Wateen bags PAS award

LAHORE: Wateen Telecom was recently awarded the Pakistan Advertisers Society award for best advertisement in the ‘Computer and Internet Category’ at a ceremony held at Karachi Expo Centre, attended by leading national and multinational brands. The objective of the awards is to raise the standard of advertising in Pakistan by honouring and acknowledging ideas, strategy and creativity that lead to strong business results. Over the past year, Wateen has taken several steps to help improve service levels and optimise the network’s efficiency, including the relocation of over 200 sites. Commenting on the award, Wateen CEO Naeem Zamindar said, “We had the challenge of re-launching Wateen Telecom as Pakistan’s leading converged communications service provider in a short period of time. This was not an easy task and it is representative of Wateen’s philosophy that no matter what the odds are, with the right platform you can achieve anything you want to.”
