Rao Qamar Suleman appointed new PIA chairman
Suleman was appointed as the Managing Director of PIA last month, and now replaces Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar as chairman. He has been appointed under the polices and guidelines of the PIA Act 1956.
Suleman retired from his post of PAF chief on March 18, after completing his three-year term, and was replaced by Air Marshal Tahir Raffiq Butt.
Suleman has overseen a successful term which involved key inductions into the PAF. This includes the serial production and induction of the JF-17 fighter aircraft that Pakistan co-developed with China. This period also saw the arrival of the first of new block 52 F-16 D air crafts and the upgradation of the existing F-16 block 15, A and B fighters.

What is the achievement of Mr Rao? WHY is he appointed chairman?
what are his plans to rejuvenate the national career,if he managed to identify the dear ones/relatives of the employees working as suppliers and contractors,posting aboard on merits,reduces the high top managements,mis use of ticket concessions to own employees,proper control on kitchen and full flash activation of huge maintenance facility to own career as well as its availability to regional countries.
OMG!! What will happen to PIA, Under him PAF was seen no where in Mehran Base attack, Osama Episode in Abbaotabad, and a few more!!

So his achievements are Mergers and Acquisition and inductions. ET rightly could not find any militaristic achievement in his term as Air Chief. SAD but this what our Generals, Admirals and Marshals learn: running Biz Enterprises and Mergers and Acquisitions.
