Ramazan moon sighted
The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee met on Wednesday to decide about the sighting of the Ramazan moon.
Four weeks ago, the federal cabinet approved a relief package worth Rs2.27 billion to reduce the prices of kitchen items during the month of Ramazan. However, given the quadrupling of food prices due to the ongoing flood crisis, this Ramazan may see numerous hardships for citizens.
