Four militants killed in North Waziristan drone strike

MIRANSHAH: At least four suspected militants were killed in a drone strike on a compound in Zafar Town in Miranshah, headquarters of North Waziristan agency in the early hours of Wednesday, security officials confirmed.

Two missiles were fired at a house in Miranshah bazaar a few hours after midnight. “It could not be confirmed whether the militants were foreigner or local,” said a security official.

A tribesman, Saeed Jan told The Express Tribune that around midnight, a drone targeted a house in Saikal Kalay near Zafar Town in which four people were killed and several injured.

“After the enormous blasts, militants surrounded the area and shifted all the bodies and injured to an undisclosed location,” he said.

It was the first drone strike after the Chicago conference held by NATO on Afghanistan.

The last drone attack was on a militant compound in the Darai Nishtar area of district Shawal in North Waziristan Agency in which 10 people were killed.

@HASAN MEHMOOD: In this regard our media is playing very shame full role by giving wrong information to public our media did not telecast talk shows or programs about the occupation of Pakistani land by foreign + local militants. The militant have only one mission to gain powers and not islam I give you only one example in this regard that here in KPK every one even children knows that Lashkar Islam chief Mangal Bagh was an Ex bus cleaner and make the gang only for looting money and nothing else but over electronic media did not mention or tell the truth to the masses that he is not religious scholar but only a bus cleaner
