Hynes, Gilani Meeting: Trade cooperation with Canada discussed
Gilani says more than 0.3 million Pakistani expatriate communities were contributing to economies of both countries.

Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani stressed the need for Pakistan and Canada to exploit the potential of cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture and trade. Talking to Ross Hynes, the outgoing High Commissioner of Canada, who paid a farewell call to him at the PM House, the prime minister underscored the importance of long-standing relations between Canada and Pakistan. Gilani said more than 0.3 million Pakistani expatriate communities were contributing to the economies of both countries. The prime minister called upon the need for people-to-people contacts and the high-level exchanges including that of parliamentarians to further deepen the bilateral relations between both countries.
