Two killed as MNA fired upon in Kohat

MNA Khurshid Begum's husband, Saeed Advocate was injured in the attack.

KOHAT: Two people were killed and the husband of Member National Assembly Khurshid Begum was injured when they were fired upon in Kohat on Wednesday evening.

Express News reporter Zahir Khan Bangash reported that the MNA, and her husband, Saeed Advocate, had travelled to their constituency in Sheikhan to inaugurate a newly constructed road.

There was tiff between two groups over the construction of the road. When the MNA arrived, members of the opposing group fired on them. As a result, two men were killed.

Saeed has been shifted to Peshawar for medical treatment.

This proves that those who make fuss of the security provided to ANP leadership and KP govt officials, have malafide intentions.
