Toe the line: Govt warns to milk shopowners

KARACHI: Karachi Commissioner Roshan Ali Shaikh asked all assistant commissioners in the city on Monday to ensure that shopkeepers charge consumers Rs70 per litre of milk. Milk shop owners should display price lists so that consumers know what they are supposed to pay. Shaikh said that a crackdown would soon be initiated against vendors who overcharge consumers. He added that people can lodge their complaints at 99203443 and 99205639.
