Pak-Afghan ties: Journalists exchange to foster peace

An exchange programme for young journalists from Pakistan and Afghanistan is being arranged by German political foundation Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES). Professional journalists aged between 18 and 32 with a minimum work experience of two years are invited to apply for the exchange programme. The deadline for applications is May 20, 2012. Applicants fulfilling the programme criteria will be invited for assessment on May 30, 2012. Workshops for the programme will be held in Islamabad (June) and Kabul (October).The exchange programme is being arranged in collaboration with The Express Tribune along with the University of Peshawar, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) and Mediothek, Media House Peshawar and Kabul. Applications can be submitted through email at media@fes.or.pk.
