Swimming: Punjab clinch inter-provincial title

Punjab clinched the Inter-Provincial Youth under-14 Boys Swimming Championship with 216 points.

Punjab clinched the Inter-Provincial Youth under-14 Boys Swimming Championship with 216 points, according to the officials. They took nine gold medals, five silver and two bronze medals. Khyber-Pakhtunkhua finished second with two silver and six bronze medals while Islamabad managed third position with two silver and one bronze medal. Punjab’s M Rizwan was declared the best swimmer as he won the 100m and 200 metre freestyle as well as the 100m back-stroke events. Punjab’s M Hamza finished second in the 200m freestyle and Hassan Ali sealed second position in the 100m freestyle.
