Under Court Orders: NAB conducts inspection of rental power plants

ISLAMABAD:

Under directives of the Supreme Court, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) took another major step in its inquiry in the Rental Power Plants case by sending its investigation teams to the rental power generation sites for authentication, physical inspection as well as verification of the installed equipment.

Statements of officials working on these sites were also recorded during the course of inspections.

In case any anomalies are found by the investigation teams during the inspections, the bureau can summon the accused persons for examination.
