LAHORE:
A Czech delegation has said that the Czech Republic and Pakistan have huge potential for joint ventures in energy, oil and defence and businesspersons should come forward to avail opportunities in these areas.
Members of the delegation were of the view that both the countries have strengths in different areas, and there is potential in trade.
They said Czech businesspersons are serious about doing business in Pakistan, particularly in the power sector. They said the existing volume of trade between Pakistan and Czech Republic needs special attention and that a lack of information is coming in the way of bilateral trade. Chambers of commerce of both countries should play a role in this regard, they suggested.
