Squash: Pakistan to host international events

The Asian senior event will be held next year while the junior championship takes place in 2015.

Pakistan will host three international squash events in September this year as well as in 2013 and 2015, according to the country’s squash federation.


“We are pleased to announce the hosting rights of the Asian Master Squash event in September,” said Pakistan Squash Federation Senior Vice-President Syed Razi Nawab.

“The Asian senior event will be held next year while the junior championship takes place in 2015. Fifteen countries will be taking part and the events will play a part in the revival of squash in Pakistan.”

The official also confirmed that the bans on Aamir Atlas and Yasir Batt will also be overturned.
