How should we celebrate? (II)

KARACHI: I urge the people of this country not to waste precious resources on putting up lights in celebration of August 14. Instead,all the money usually spent on decorations should be donated to flood victims.

It would not only be a waste but it is not right to celebrate when thousands are dead, injured and homeless. Donating the money will be much more patriotic than putting up flags outside our houses.
