Groundbreaking: Cultural academy to be completed in two years

Once two-story building is completed, project to construct additional two stories will be initiated.

PESHAWAR: At the groundbreaking ceremony of Jabran Adeel Cultural Academy on Saturday, K-P Minister for Culture and Information Mian Iftikhar Hussain announced that the academy will be constructed within two years at a cost of Rs38.29 million.

Once the two-story building is completed, adjacent to Nishtar Hall, the project to construct additional two stories will be initiated. The academy will also house a 200-seat hall. Hussain directed the authorities concerned to complete the building before the stipulated time so that construction of the remaining two stories can initiated soon. Secretary Culture Azmat Hanif Orakzai appealed to high-ranking judges and lawyers to vacate Nishtar Hall so that cultural facilities can be extended in the area.
