Underage driving: Speeding car knocks pedestrian down

ISLAMABAD: A technician of the Express TV was seriously injured after he was hit by a car being driven by the son of additional director of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday. Mohammad Imran, 26, was going to work in the afternoon when the speeding car driven by the 16-year-old hit him, injuring him badly. According to the eyewitnesses, Imran was hit when he was walking, towards Aabpara Market, along the Seventh Avenue. He was immediately taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences where doctors informed that both of his legs had been broken. He also received a minor head injury, but his life is out of danger, said a doctor. Till late evening, the first information report (FIR) of the accident was not lodged by the police. Imran is the only brother of six sisters and is the sole breadwinner of the family. He has been working with the Express Media group for the past three years.

shame on these people. fir should have been registered against the owner of car
