Football: Army, Sindh seal semi-final berth

In the last quarter-final, Sindh thrashed Punjab 3-0.

Pakistan Army, Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Muslim FC completed the National Under-22 Football Championship semi-final. Army defeated National Youth 2-0. The winners took an early lead in the 11th minute through Muhammad Jamil’s goal. Muhammad Asghar doubled the score in the 49th minute to seal the win.


Meanwhile, in the last quarter-final, Sindh thrashed Punjab 3-0. Abdul Wahab scored the opening goal in the 27th minute, before adding a second in the 89th minute. Imran Hussain sealed the victory in the 90th minute. K-P and Muslim Fc has already qualified for the last-four.
