‘Ainak wala jin’ creator A Hameed passes away

Prolific Urdu writer A Hameed passed away in Lahore on Friday. He was 83.

Abdul Hameed, known simply as A Hameed, wrote over 200 books and contributed greatly to children’s literature. His fantasy series of 100 novels, known as Ambar Naag Maria, and legendary television series Ainak Wala Jin are his notable works.

Former ISI official's body found in FATA

Former ISI official and reported friend of Osama bin Laden was found dead in a lawless region on Friday with a note accusing him of spying for the United States, security officials said.

The body of Khalid Khawaja, a former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) officer, was dumped in Mir Ali town in North Waziristan, an intelligence official said.

Video of Hakimullah Mehsud released today

Express received a video of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan Chief Hakimullah Mehsud on Friday.

This video comes two days after the publication of a report in The Guardian that quotes Pakistani intelligence officials as claiming that Hakimullah has survived the American drone attack in January this year and is in fact alive and well.
