Pakistan to take part in President Football Cup

Pakistan will take part in the President Football Cup in Sri Lanka later this year after it was announced by the Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) President Faisal Saleh Hayat in a board meeting.

“We have made significant progress in the promotion and development of football in Pakistan and are optimistic that it will gain more popularity in the coming years,” said Saleh, claiming that the launch of Vision Asia was a milestone in the country’s football history.

“It is an honor for PFF that Fifa Vice-President Chung Mong Joon had opened the gate for Pakistan team to get training for atleast four weeks in Korea.”

PFF made several amendments in the constitution on the instructions of Vision Asia team, as per statutes laid down in Fifa, Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

He also asked the PFF operation cell to accommodate two more teams in the Pakistan Premier Football League and asked them to compile an accountability record of all the coaches working under the AFC AID-27 Financial Assistance Scheme.
