Engagements: Hafiz Saeed to spend busy two days in city

Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) head Hafiz Mohammad Saeed is scheduled to arrive in the city on Friday for a two-day visit.


According to JuD, Saeed’s agenda includes inaugurating the Jamia Masjid Taqwa, which was built by the organisation close to its headquarters near Safari Park, and delivering the Friday sermon.

Saeed will also address separate events for clerics, traders, students and women. He will also be taking stock of the JuD’s work in Karachi and will meet with delegations of religious and political parties. Saeed’s wife and head of the JuD’s women wing, Umm Talha, also visited Karachi this week and addressed a meeting.
