Rebooting Pak-US ties: High level huddle at PM house

ISLAMABAD: With a high level delegation from the US in town holding meetings with key members of the Pakistani heirarchy, the Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and senior officials gathered in a huddle at the Prime Minister House on Thursday evening.     

The meeting was attended by Minister for Defence, Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar, Minister for Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister for Interior Rehman Malik, Pakistan's Ambassador to US, Sherry Rehman, Chief of the Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, DG ISI Lt. General Muhammad Zaheerul Islam and Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani.

Matters relating to Afghan peace and reconciliation and new terms of engagement with US/NATO/ISAF in accordance with the recommendations of the Parliament were discussed in the meeting.

Drone attacks should be unacceptable to any self respecting country... As should the use of your terrritory to attack your neighbors
