Eight die in train accident in Mianwali

The Thal Express train was bound for Multan from Rawalpindi when it hit a rickshaw killing eight people.

MIANWALI: Eight members of a family were killed when the Thal Express rammed into a three-wheeled rickshaw in the Kundiyan tehsil area of Mianwali of Saturday.

The Thal Express train was bound for Multan from Rawalpindi when it hit the rickshaw at an unbarricaded railroad crossing and killed eight people. nne child of the same family was also injured.

The family was on their way home after shopping in the city market.
