Torture case: Two cops flee after bail cancelled

FAISALABAD: Police were accused on Saturday of letting their colleagues flee after a local court cancelled the bail of two police officials accused of torturing a teacher to death in Chenab Nagar. Earlier, police officers’ SI Shujat Malhi and Manazir Husain had obtained bail before arrest after being accused of torturing primary school teacher Abdul Qudoos to death in Chenab Nagar. The Chiniot District and Session Judge cancelled the bails on Saturday. The police present outside the court did not arrest them and they managed to flee. Our Correspondent
